Fausto Garofalo graduated as a lawyer in Venezuela in 1991 and went on to earn a Master’s degree in finance and tax law. Forced to emigrate from his country due to its grave political conflicts almost 20 years ago, and finding himself barred from exercising his profession in the USA after being unable to revalidate his degree, he discovered in the mortgage business the perfect intersection of his passion for the financial sector and public service. The knowledge acquired previously in the study of his profession allowed him to find in mortgage brokering an equally rewarding career, noticing it shared a common objective to help people with their financial preparation, specifically in what could be considered the most important investment in any person’s life: the purchase of a home.
He began his incursion into the mortgage world around 2006, when the worst financial crisis in America in recent memory could not yet be predicted. Thanks to his principles, family values, and the wise recommendations that he provided his clients before, during, and after that frightening period of uncertainty, he managed to survive the aforementioned crisis and remain in the mortgage business, continuing in this way to do what he most enjoys, which is helping the community with his knowledge, experience, and dedicated service. He has found that the basis of his success is always putting the customer first and finding the product that best adapts to each individual client’s situation on a case by case basis.
Fausto also enjoys spending time with friends and most of all family. He also likes to contribute to the cause of helping his native country of Venezuela, which currently faces one of the worst humanitarians and economic crises in the world.
Currently Fausto serves as loan officer for Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) in the City of Doral, Florida location, where he feels he has found his perfect place, as the company’s ethical and moral values and principles align with his own beliefs that the client must be placed above all.
